The WSB Story

World Services for the Blind was founded in 1947 by Roy Kumpe, whose vision helped redefine opportunities for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. With an initial $10,000 donation from the Little Rock Lions Club, Kumpe laid the foundation for what would become one of the most comprehensive rehabilitation centers of its kind in the world.

Today, that legacy continues through a commitment to innovation, empowerment, and expanding possibilities for every student we serve.
