The mission of World Services for the Blind is to empower individuals who are blind or visually impaired—both in the United States and worldwide—to achieve sustainable independence. We help students reach their goals through comprehensive life skills and career training programs. While each client’s tuition and fees are covered by their state, WSB relies on generous financial contributions to provide essential resources, from computers and classroom technology to furnishings and appliances for our dormitories. Become a Mentor, Make a
Difference
The WSB Mentorship Program is designed to support adults seeking employment through structured, one-on-one mentoring relationships. The program pairs mentors and mentees based on shared goals and areas of interest to encourage sustainable growth, confidence, and career development.
WSB FOUNDATION
The WSB Foundation enhances the operations, training, and opportunities for the clients of World Services for the Blind through philanthropy, endowment, and events. Whether it be through our Annual Vision Award, Events, or legacy donors the World Services for the Blind Foundation continues to support the World Services for the Blind Organization. Our Foundation backs educational programming, life skills, buildings and operations, and community partnerships.
